Flat pricing. Whole team. Free for 14 days.

Intervool costs $39/mo for one person or $279/mo for a team of six — per workspace, not per seat. Every plan takes a customer interview all the way from recording to a roadmap decision you can defend: capture, transcript, AI insights, themes, Copilot, and prioritization are in every tier. No credit card to start.

What you're paying for

Interviews in. Decisions out. On every plan.

Most research tools charge you to store findings. Intervool charges you to use them — the price covers the whole loop from the first recording to the roadmap it justifies.

Nothing a customer said gets lost

Every call — video, audio, transcript, notes — lands in one searchable place. Six months from now you can still find the exact moment someone explained the problem.

Synthesis takes minutes, not a weekend

AI pulls pain points, requests, and quotes from each interview and clusters what repeats across all of them. You review and merge; you don't re-read forty transcripts.

Every roadmap bet has its evidence attached

Themes become impact-vs-effort decisions, each one click from the customer quote behind it. When someone asks 'why this?', you show them, not tell them.

The whole team reads the research

Flat pricing means PMs, designers, founders, and sales can all open the evidence. Research written by one person and read by six is what changes what gets built.

Personas that update themselves

On Team, personas and segments are built from who you actually interviewed and refresh as you learn — every attribute traces to a real quote, not a workshop guess.

Your old research isn't stranded

Upload recordings and notes from Zoom, Otter, Dovetail, or a folder, and Intervool transcribes and analyzes them like anything new. The archive starts full on day one.

Which plan

Pick by how many people need the evidence.

A founder doing discovery alone
Basic$39/mo

Twenty calls a month is roughly five a week — the cadence of a founder actively validating. You get the full capture-to-roadmap loop for one seat, and a defensible answer to 'what did customers actually say?' before the next investor or hire asks it.

A product team running continuous research
Team$279/mo

Six seats so the PM, designer, engineering lead, and founder all work from the same evidence; fifty calls a month across the team; dynamic personas and segments so every theme is read through who it came from. This is the plan most teams land on.

A research or product org with more than ten people
EnterpriseCustom

Unlimited seats, custom retention and AI limits, admin controls, onboarding, and deeper integrations. Priced to the workspace, scoped with you on a call.

Why flat pricing

Research only pays off when it gets used.

Forrester found that 60–73% of enterprise data goes unused, and Pendo's feature-adoption research found 80% of product features are rarely or never used. Both numbers come from the same failure: the people deciding what to build weren't the people who could open the research.

Per-seat pricing makes that worse by design — every extra reader is a line item. Intervool prices the workspace so the decision-makers are inside it, and charges for calls, which is the thing that actually scales with how much research you do.

Flat vs per seat

What six people cost, side by side.

Research is written by a few and should be read by many. Per-seat pricing quietly decides who gets a login. Published prices as of August 2026, rounded; enterprise tiers are negotiable.

Pricing FAQ

Questions about cost.

Something else? Book 20 minutes and ask.

How much does Intervool cost?
Intervool has three plans: Basic at $39 per month for one seat and 20 calls a month, Team at $279 per month for six seats and 50 calls a month, and Enterprise on a custom quote for unlimited seats. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no credit card. Prices are per workspace, not per user.
Is Intervool priced per seat?
No. Basic includes one seat and Team includes six, with extra Team seats at $49 each up to ten. Most research repositories — Dovetail, Condens, Marvin, Looppanel — charge per user, which quietly limits who can read the research. Intervool's flat pricing is deliberate: product managers, designers, and founders can all open the evidence without a per-seat conversation.
What counts as a call?
One interview added to the workspace — whether Intervool joined it live, or you uploaded a video, audio file, or written notes afterwards. Basic includes 20 a month and Team includes 50. If you need more in a busy month, add 10 for $15 on either plan.
Is there a free plan?
There's a 14-day free trial on Basic and Team with no credit card required, but no permanent free tier. If you need a free option long-term, our roundup of free customer interview tools lists what's genuinely free and what it leaves out.
What's the difference between Basic and Team?
Team adds five more seats, 50 calls a month instead of 20, dynamic personas and segments, real-time collaboration, richer AI synthesis, and stronger reporting. Basic is the right plan for one person running their own discovery; Team is for a product team that wants research shaping the whole roadmap together.
How does Intervool's pricing compare to Dovetail or Condens?
Dovetail starts around $29 per user per month and Condens around €15 per user per month, so a six-person team pays roughly $90–$175 a month before any enterprise tier. Intervool's Team plan is $279 a month flat with six seats, and includes transcription, AI synthesis, personas, segments, and the roadmap, which those tools either don't offer or hand off to a separate product. For one person, Basic at $39 is in the same range as a single Dovetail seat.
How long is data kept?
Transcripts, insights, themes, personas, and roadmap items are kept for as long as your workspace exists. Video is retained for 90 days on Basic and Team; extended retention is available on request and is custom on Enterprise.
Can I cancel or change plans?
Yes. Plans are month to month — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Your transcripts, insights, themes, and roadmap stay in the workspace when you change plans.
Is Intervool worth it compared to a free notetaker plus Notion?
A notetaker gives you transcripts; Notion gives you a place to put them. What neither does is the synthesis — finding what repeats across thirty calls, keeping each finding linked to its source, and turning it into a ranked roadmap. Teams typically spend a day or more per study doing that by hand. At $39 or $279 a month, Intervool costs less than one afternoon of a PM's time, and the evidence trail is the part a notetaker can never give you.
What does Enterprise include?
Everything in Team plus unlimited seats, custom storage and video retention, custom AI limits and policies, advanced admin controls, enterprise onboarding and support, deeper integrations, and priority on feature requests. Book a demo and we'll scope it with you.
